On truly one of the hottest evenings at this point in time in the Charlottesville Virginia area, a sweet little picnic in the park engagement session was in the works with two of my favorite people.
Both Jackie and Andy are dear friends of mine. It was an absolute delight to have the chance to work with them again, more importantly to capture their engagement!
Beaver Creek Park
The location for this particular shoot took place at Beaver Creek park near Crozet Virginia. Jackie wanted to do it at this location because it was close to there new town. I loved the connection and how they wanted to have a piece of their new and exciting chapter in life as part of photos. I like to think that adds more of a special touch and makes them cherish these images even better!
This little picnic in the park engagement was so sweet and these guys were completely champs. YOU GUYS it was SO HOT! i felt so bad, because they were in long pants but they powered through! There was a particular moment during this session that stood out to me. J passed a sweet little note to A, he wasn’t expecting it at all and watching his facial expression while reading. It was adorable and as a friend of his it warmed my heart because I know that he found his PERSON. As a photograph I do my best to observe during a session and look for those in between moments. I think they are some of the best to capture, in my own personal opinion.
Engagement session are so much fun, it is filled with all the sweet stories of how their stories all started down the special moment many of dream for, when you are asked to spend the rest of your life with your person! If you too are recently engaged I’d love to hear from you!
