Snowy January Morning
Let me start this all off by saying this was the snowy morning of my dreams. Charlottesville was hit with a snow storm a few weeks back, making me personally the happiest person in the world. However, it was nothing crazy, I must admit I secretly hoped for a foot of snow. It hurts my heart to report..that was just not the case this time around. It was just enough to make me want to play in it.
January 11th was, and will hands down be a snowy Saturday morning to remember. Rachelle and logon got out of the car and weirdly enough it was like meeting up with old friends. As a photographer we love this feeling! These too were an absolute blast to work with. I pride myself on making my clients as comfortable as humanly possible. My goal is to capture them in an authentic and beautiful way. Meaning, I want them to feel like I’m just a third wheel friend tagging along on their little adventures.
These two came to play and have the best time! Now keep in mind the snow we had gotten days prior to this session was slowly starting to melt. Luckily mother nature was working in my favor and we got the lightest dusting you can image. Although, it was enough to cover a few of the melted spots, meaning it covered some of the ice.
Watching both Rachelle & Logan laughing, rolling around in the snow, sledding, tackling one another plus so much more made me all kinds of giddy. It was truly such a pleasure to capture this two. When I look back at these photos I feel like I captured there personalities and relationship to a T.
